There is a Flood coming!

Have you ever just had a bad day? Just no matter which way you turned the devil was on your back in some way, shape, or form. I have those days sometimes, God has called me to be this person, this leader, and it wasn’t until I fully embraced this calling that I knew exactly where I was going and what God was doing with me. But even then the devil tries to persuade you into doing things that is not righteous in the kingdom of God.

For example, when I wasn’t living the right way my language was something that I struggled with. I would just say whatever that came to my mind. Keep in mind that I was still going to church (just because you go to church doesn’t make you sin proof.) It wasn’t until January of this year that God took me through a complete transformation, taking focus off of every other aspect in my life and putting my focus solely on him. I dropped everything I was doing that took focus off of God and I want to truly give him all the focus that he wants from me. Now I’m not saying that when you choose to follow God that you have to drop everything that you’ve done your entire life. If you enjoy doing it and its a desire in your heart that is fine (God likes to see us happy) But, God doesn’t like us to put things before him.

So, back to my bad day (I’m jumpy I know) the devil kept on poking at me bringing up the earthly things that I had done and it wasn’t until I started playing my piano that evening that it truly clicked. The devil tries to tear down the righteous first! You may be obedient to God and the devil knows it so he’s gonna come after you first! But it was in that very moment when it all made sense that God laid these very words in my spirit, “There is a Flood coming.”

You see you may feel this way too. The devil might be on your back “trying” to direct your every move. Tell him to get off! And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Luke 4:8 Take joy in this verse! The devil can’t control you anymore. You just throat punched him!

I want to encourage you with this, Don’t loose your faith when the devil gets on your back. Your flood is coming, your breakthrough is right there God has his hand on you getting ready to push you to the next step all you have to do is be obedient to him and let him lead you the way he want’s!
