Have you ever mowed the yard? You want to do it the most pristine way as possible. Making the lines as straight as possible and making it look as neat as it can be. How do I do that you may ask? You focus. Focus on one point in the yard and you will go straight to it, but if you start looking around you will stray off the course and your lines won’t be straight as they should be.
So you see we as humans can’t loose our focus. Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. God has a plan for you, me, and every person that walks in this beautiful world that he has made for us. Trust me! I know his plan is better that the plans that you make for yourself. Don’t loose focus on Him.
I herd this story one time about a donkey who fell in a well. The farmer and his help couldn’t get the donkey out of the well so they decided to fill the well with dirt, with each shovel that would land on the donkeys back he would shake it off and step up. Eventually the donkey was able to make it to the top of the well and get out. What a great story that is!
Stay focused on God, allow him to work in you and through you. Keep your nose in his word. Whatever the devil throws at you. Shake it off and step up. You may be going through a rough patch, you don’t know which way is up, let me say, focus on God, no matter what valley you may go through, what mountain you may be on top of, with Him there is no other way but up. He has plans for you. Trust him and follow him and he will guide you in the right path.
