Growing up my grandparents always had horses of all different kinds. But my personal favorite ones where the ones that pulled the wagons. You see my friends I have always had a slight fear of horses. When I was 4 I was kicked in the head by a miniature pony and it kind of made me respect them a little more. I keep my distance in fear that I would be kicked by one of them.
Thats where the wagon came into play. I could ride in the comfort of the wagon without the worry of getting kicked or thrown by a horse. But then curiosity got the best of me and I started helping my grandpa harness the horses, I even got really good at it. I could do it faster than him. But I became curious of the bridal, why did it have those blinders on the sides of there eyes? It was to keep them focused and to make them keep working no matter what was beside or behind them.
You see that’s what we need to do with God. Keep the blinders on and don’t loose focus on him. Psalm 16:8 says “I keep my eyes always on the Lord, with him at my right hand I will not be shaken.” God want’s you to fully trust in him. Give him your all and let him do the work. Keep your mind fully on his promises and do not stray he will lead you in the ways that are best for your future. He has a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
So my friends keep your focus on God let him lead you and have his way with you. Fully submit to him and allow him to work all things for your good.
Keep the blinders on.
